The studio
Recurve Labs is a solo web design studio for small businesses, based in Pittsburgh and working with clients anywhere. One lead engineer does the work — from the first conversation to the site going live and everything after.
The studio uses AI throughout its workflow — research, drafting, parts of the build — which keeps operations lean and turnarounds fast without cutting corners.
A few other things live under the Recurve Labs name too — internal tools, products the studio builds for itself. The primary work is client websites.
Founder
Recurve Labs is run by Holden Monroe.
Holden is a Lead Software Engineer with twelve-plus years of experience building websites and products used by millions of people. Most of that work has been in e-commerce and large consumer apps, where speed, polish, and reliability aren't optional.
The studio operates from Pittsburgh, PA. Local work is welcome, but most engagements happen remotely — clients come from across the country and beyond.
